Violet, rust and yellow frame each other in the morning sky while the pond shimmers below. Expressive trees that seem to be caught at the top end of a dramatic kowtow are contrasted by their straight-laced cousins standing rigid and stalwart over the scene. The artist features shore birds in many of his works as they are a special animal to him.
