Tualatin Hills Nature Park is a gem of outdoor space in Beaverton, Oregon - traditional territory of the Kalapuya, Cathlamet and neighboring Clackamas and Southern Chinookan peoples. There’s a visitor’s center and paved trails that wend their ways through the forest. At several places, one can go off the paved trail to well-trod dirt trails and down one of these, you will find “Big Pond,” a beauty in any season.
